What to expect

We have a variety of activities available within Seaview Haven if you choose to partake, these range from, home baking, group games, craft and flower creative hour, entertainment from a variety of local singers of old time musicals to modern classics, tai chi instructor, links with the local vicars, Librarian visits to acquire books for your reading pleasure. Support given to residents to visit Ilfracombe town to enable people to have links and know their local community.

We are always happy to receive suggestions to support individuals needs and preference.

We have three communal dining room options if you would like to join your fellow residents at meal times. We are also happy to support you remaining in your room if you prefer.

We provide a fully catered home with our experienced and friendly cooking team serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We aim to ensure that all meals are nutritious and well balanced and that you have sufficient options to ensure you find something that more than meets your taste and expectations. As with everything we do, we are more than happy to discuss specific requests or dietary requirements with you to ensure your fulfilment.

Typical Menu

Our chefs will aim to freshen up our daily menus to provide a wide variety of meals ensuring that you never get tired of the Seaview catering. We will endeavour to seek your feedback on new dishes to continuously improve and set new standards.

We have wireless internet and would encourage you to take advantage. We can arrange and support you in the temporary use of iPads for contacting distant friends and loved ones.

We have a regular hairdresser and chiropodist available for onsite appointments.

Our little shop provides the opportunity to purchase snacks, magazines and toiletries. Newspapers can also be ordered on request.

Hospital visits and appointments can be supported in the event a loved one is not able to do so.

We welcome visitors to Seaview at any time to visit loved ones, our secure entry system will permit entry to known visitors while ensuring unfamiliar guests require support with entry
